The prerequisite and basis for Christiane Reiter’s artistic work is a self-imposed and regulating framework of rules and guidelines that frees the artist from unwanted aesthetic and iconographic design issues.
In the course of a tour through her current exhibition greying at Galerie Rauminhalt, Christiane Reiter will explain her working methods and intentions in an exchange with the visitors.
With her new series of works greying, a block of works consisting of 3 chapters of 12 framed drawings each (format 100 x 70 cm) and assembled together, Christiane Reiter is consistently continuing her process of condensing and creating drawings, which began with the series THIS IS SO ME (2017/18), was continued with the series PIGS N’ PIGGIES (2020) and is now presented in 2022 with very recent works.
