Whereas visitors of exhibitions are mainly confronted with finished artworks, studio das weisse haus is a place of creative practice and dialogue. Here, Vienna-based artists meet international cultural producers and constitute a vibrant community. In a time where solidarity and caring are more important than ever, INSIDE––INSIGHT seeks to support our mission to intensify the contact with diverse audiences and allow insights into the everyday work and production process. On November 18, we invite visitors to take part in a cyanotype workshop with Rafael Lippuner and Lena Rosa Händle, or to immerse yourself in drawing root braids with Lavinia Lanner. Hyeji Nam and Yoshinori Niwa present two performances in the neighbourhood, starting from their respective studios. Lavinia Lanner’s large scale installation accompanies and guides the audience through the staircase. A prepared set of FAQs will finally open up the opportunity for a private session with each artist to learn more about their current projects.
