Statement of the artist:
The exhibition explores my personal journey of discovering a new self and learning to live another life – both as a refugee from war and in entering a new stage of middle age. The works presented are created through the technique of double exposure within a single frame (without Photoshop), which powerfully underlines the concept of duality – between the feeling of life and self, and the reality of both.

The discussion can revolve around both the philosophical aspects of this transformation and the artistic method of working with double exposures, where layers are superimposed and the final result only becomes visible in the end.

The evening invites an open discourse, with questions and reflections contributed not only by artists and curators, but also by the attending audience.
