EVENT LANGUAGE: GERMAN
Claudia Banz, Director of the Weltmuseum Wien, will give a guided tour of the special exhibition Tabita Rezaire as part of VIENNA ART WEEK. The tour offers insights into the background, aims, and challenges of the exhibition.
With Tabita Rezaire. Calabash Nebula: Cosmological Tales of Connection, the Weltmuseum Wien presents the first solo exhibition in Austria of Tabita Rezaire (*1989). The multidisciplinary artist, activist, and healer combines digital technologies with spiritual, non-Western, and Indigenous systems of knowledge.
The exhibition is a manifestation of Rezaire’s life philosophy and brings together three installations: OMI: Yemoja Temple (in collaboration with Yussef Agbo-Ola), Omu Elu, and Des/astres.
Registration required: FULLY BOOKED.
