The exhibition DU SOLLST DIR EIN BILD MACHEN explores the imaginative power of religious experience, its visual expression within the Christian tradition, and its reinterpretation by contemporary artists.

Church and art are also connected through the irrational, the mysterious, and above all through imagination—the capacity to create worlds with their own rules and laws, worlds that in turn reflect back on our lives and tell us something about our existence.
