an interactive happening – Kunstraum Kombinage becomes a photo studio and thus a stage and place for short, intensive encounters. Here, the question of identity, which can indeed only be answered through confrontation and direct, reciprocal exchange with “the other”, is openly discussed and explored through the lens of the camera with the voluntary participation of the audience. Desire, encounters and intimacy and their social and individual dimensions are to be visually experienced in the interactive happening. But there is also simply the opportunity to get to know the artists.

Kunstverein Kombinage is an interdisciplinary artists’ collective consisting of Selina de Beauclair, Markus Guschelbauer, Hannes Gröblacher, Daniel Hill and Lea Titz. Together we run the art space Kombinage in Johannagasse in the 5th district as a work, project and exhibition space. We are multidisciplinary and offer space for creative production, for professional discourse and exchange, for the formation of networks and social community.
