In a participatory panel, the KUNST HAUS WIEN and the KLIMA BIENNALE WIEN question their own activities. The outdoor exhibition and the multifaceted community programme Close/d have come to an end, the edition of the first Biennale will be on view in April 2024. This is a good time to discuss ecological issues and community practices with experts from art and science: How is the human-nature relationship shaped and how does art help us to make this visible? Why is it necessary to form communities, to seek neighbourhoods? On a damaged planet, is there only escape into space?
