An event by the Vienna Business Agency – Creativity & Business
On this tour, you will discover selected winning projects from the Vienna Business Agency’s “Creatives for Vienna – Making Spaces” competition, which show how the use of space can provide new impetus for cooperation, neighborhoods, and urban development.
We will visit two locations that offer exciting insights into concepts that rethink spaces and transform them into lively networking places:
- The former Semmelweis clinic, a temporary use project that has been developed since 2022 into a lively arts and culture center with studios, event spaces, and communal areas,
- as well as the former hydraulic engineering laboratory in the 9th district, one of the oldest of its kind, which is being transformed by Buero de Martin into an inspiring place of work and culture, opening up new spaces for artistic processes with halls, workshops, and a green courtyard.
The following studios will be open to visitors during the tour: Resa Lut, Johanna Lea Lassnig, Adele Siegl, Elena Waclawiczek, Elisabeth Blum, Roberto Colomer, Nathalie Frickey, Eva Perner, Barbara Klampfl.
Due to limited capacity, registration is required: creativeindustries@wirtschaftsagentur.at (Click here to register!)
Meeting point: 2:45 pm, terrace of the Semmelweisklinik Arts and Cultural Center,
Hockegasse 37 / Building 4, 1180 Vienna
