EVENT LANGUAGE: GERMAN SPOKEN LANGUAGE AND AUSTRIAN SIGN LANGUAGE

The Beijing-based artist Guan Xiao plays with unusual combinations of objects, images, and media in her art. At Kunsthalle Wien, she presents a new series of sculptures that form the core of a sophisticated narrative. In the guided tour interpreted in Austrian Sign Language by sign language interpreter Eva Böhm and art educator Martin Walkner, this narrative is explored, and the connections and background of the exhibited artworks are discussed together.
