Sophie Pölzl’s solo exhibition OUR HOUSE at Bildraum 01 focuses on the studio as a production site of art and social space. Pölzl works with analog photographic materials, large format films or photographic paper, which she exposes without a camera over longer periods of time. The process and the associated change are the subject of her investigation of the temporary. Gently but firmly, she places the observation of passing time at the center of her practice.

Bildraum 01
In Vienna, once not far from the MuseumsQuartier and once directly in the heart of the Inner City, two exhibition spaces offer the best conditions for contemporary artists to position themselves in the cultural landscape.
While Bildraum 01 in Vienna’s Strauchgasse focuses on contemporary photography and graphic art, Bildraum 07 in Burggasse presents mainly painting, installation and object art.
