For the first time, the VIENNA ART WEEK can offer an extensive program for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

With the active help of our program partners we have succeeded in a project very dear to our heart.
In order to make Vienna’s diverse art scene accessible to as many people as possible, this year for the first time VIENNA ART WEEK offers a comprehensive inclusive program with events
– for people with visual impairments
– for people with hearing impairments
– for people with dementia
– for people with limited mobility
– in easy or simple language
at the program partners Albertina, Architekturzentrum Wien, Belvedere, Kunsthalle Wien, Kunsthistorisches Museum and STRABAG Kunstforum.
Furthermore, at our Open Studio Days, barrier-free shuttle tours will lead to various artists’ studios.
In addition, MuseumsQuartier Wien will host a high-level discussion with MQ Director Bettina Leidl on how/when art and culture can become even more accessible and inclusive.
