Work. Pleasure. Art.

MVG (Monopolverwaltung GmbH) is joining VIENNA ART WEEK as a partner for the first time, with a clear commitment: inclusive living means more than building ramps or creating jobs.

For MVG, inclusion means being able to participate in all areas of social life – at work, in leisure time, and in culture.

Participation.
Because people are more than just their professional roles. They want to create, experience, and enjoy. And success encompasses everything: pride in one’s own career path, recognition from others, and immersion in art and culture. Participation in all aspects of life is a human right – and should not be left to chance.
This attitude shapes our daily actions.

Visibility.
For almost 250 years, MVG has been awarding tobacco shops to people with disabilities – a globally unique model of inclusion that opens up business opportunities and creates long-term prospects in the primary labor market.
We stand for a society in which everyone can be visible and successful – with their abilities, their stories, and their cultural backgrounds.

Creativity.
But visibility does not only arise in working life. Art contributes significantly to this. It promotes identity and opens up spaces for creative expression. This makes it all the more important to break down existing barriers in this area – both structural and social. Cultural participation should not be a privilege, but must be open to everyone.

Encounter.
This is precisely where VIENNA ART WEEK comes in—and for us, this is crucial to our collaboration. Here, art becomes accessible to everyone, opening doors to studios and museums and transforming them into places of encounter, exchange, and mutual respect.

Inclusion.
At MVG, we want to help ensure that work and art are recognized as fundamental rights for all – not privileges for the few. Our commitment to VIENNA ART WEEK is an expression of this attitude: for more inclusion, more visibility – and a shared future that belongs to everyone.
