Terminal Piece is mumok’s first exhibition under the new directorship of Fatima Hellberg — and at the same time a vision for the museum’s future. Spanning multiple sections across all floors,
it brings together works from the collection with new acquisitions and loans.

The starting point is Terminal Piece (1972)
by Kate Millett — artist, activist, author — the first acquisition under Hellberg’s leadership.
Millett’s work questions the viewer’s position and makes it the theme of the entire exhibition itinerary.
