In daily life, which is characterized by time constraints and constant acceleration, friendships—the fulfilling “sounding together” with others—enable moments of joyful relaxation. In authentic togetherness with others, the hectic pace of everyday life fades into the background, as does the urge to always have to function better and faster.
In their intervention with clarinets and cello, the duo Stump-Linshalm and Anna Maria-Niemiec lead a musical dialogue with the artworks presented in the exhibition “In the spirit of friendship.” In historical and contemporary pieces by Hildegard von Bingen, Carlotta Ferrari, and Iannis Xenakis, they accompany us on our way through the exhibition, where we encounter intimate dialogues, the play of opposites and harmony, as well as the challenges of a deep connection

Dom Museum Wien
