The exhibition DU SOLLST DIR EIN BILD MACHEN (You Shall Make an Image for Yourself) explores the imaginative power of religious experience, its visual expression in the Christian pictorial tradition, and its reinterpretation by contemporary artists. At the heart of the exhibition are works by artists who engage with Christian iconography in ways that are critical yet affectionate, humorous, and feminist—opening up new perspectives on centuries-old motifs.

Following a short guided tour, participants are invited to explore various creative approaches in an artistic workshop, engaging hands-on with the themes of the exhibition. A wide range of materials will be available. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants can exchange ideas, learn from one another, and enter into dialogue on a variety of topics.
