Welcome to the timecapsule. The audience of the exhibition finds itself on the fourth floor of a historic house in downtown Vienna, in the middle of the 60s. Never before exhibited vintage fashion photos by Margot Pilz from this era, which mark her transition to art, meet in the original midcentury ambience of the showroom by ohne butter with sweeping paintings and stagings by Violetta Ehnsperg, 55 years younger. The tour reveals glances back and forward, contrasts and glamorous attraction. For the project around the Vienna Art Week 2021, Flux23 was able to find a special place: the spacious showroom of ohne butter, with its unique patina and furniture, offers extraordinary intimacy, away from the white cube.
