About the exhibitions:

For over five decades, Bernhard Leitner has pursued a cross-media practice at the intersections between acoustics, architecture, sculpture, and artistic research. His oeuvre lets us understand sound in new ways – as a more than merely acoustic phenomenon, as something that evolves in three dimensions, physically and architecturally.

Lap-See Lam’s work renders the architecture of diaspora as a site of spectral recursion, spaces and figures that flicker between presence and erasure, simulation and memory. Working with  3D scanning, animation, sculpture, and installation, she explores how cultural identity is mediated through reproduction, myth, and spatial displacement.

JJJJJerome Ellis’s work radically reconfigures our relationship to time, speech, and legibility, offering a poetics of interruption that is both deeply personal and structurally political. Through performance, sound, writing, and improvisation, Ellis treats dysfluency, not as deficit, but as a modality of time that resists the violence of normative fluency and capitalist temporalities.
