On Friday, November 15 as part of VIENNA ART WEEK, join us for ‘Gifting in the Dark’, a collective viewing event of audiovisual works selected by the artists of the Brussels-based, artist-run production platform elephy, Rebecca Jane Arthur, Chloë Delanghe, Eva Giolo, and Christina Stuhlberger.
For this occasion, their curation is guided by Vivian Sobchack’s reflections on facing time and the cinematic medium in relation to life and the accumulation of experiences. For her, the moving picture is a visible representation not of activity finished or past but of activity coming into being. This special event takes place within elephy’s exhibition at Kunsthalle Exnergasse, LIVING APART TOGETHER (13.11.2024-14.12.2024) and is followed by a conversation with the artists.
