Individual parts of Notgalerie, which is understood as an art object and exhibition space, have been distributed since summer. In a distribution ritual, further parts are passed on to visitors to the Dorotheum for safekeeping. The people who store the wooden elements thus become part of Notgalerie – the physical art object transformed into a collective meta-institution. Currently, a component is waiting in the garden of the “House of Rituals” until the distribution ritual can be resumed.
